My insurance company gave me the name of one of your psychologists. How do I schedule an appointment?

Behavioral Health Consultants clinicians are listed on most commercial insurance provider lists and we therefore are frequently recommended by insurance representatives to those seeking outpatient counseling services. However, Behavioral Health Consultants clinicians only provide services to patients in medical settings. We do not provide office-based psychological services. We recommend you contact your insurance representative for additional referral names.

I have a family member in the hospital who is very depressed. How do I get one of your psychologists to see them?

We provide psychological services to patients when the patient’s physician writes a psychological consult request (or “order”) in the patient’s chart. If you or your family member desires psychological assistance in coping with their medical issues, we recommend this be discussed with the patient’s physician.
